Balochistan Assembly has unanimously passed a resolution for the inclusion of Journalism subject in college level.
The resolution was moved by female MPA Husan Bano which was supported by all members of the house.
Journalism subject is not taught in college level text books and the students of Balochistan have long been demanding for the inclusion of the subject in college level so that more job opportunities are created for journalism students.
The students who hold journalism degrees face difficulties in finding job opportunities as the media industry in the province is limited to only few cities which minimizes the opportunities for journalism students.
It will be a great opportunity for the students of Balochistan if this resolution is processed further and journalism subject becomes the part of college level text books.
