Balochistan National Party (Mengal) has claimed that 2.5 million children are deprived of education in Balochistan.
Party’s central committee member and former MNA Abdul Rauf Mengal, district level deputy general secretary Shokat Siah Pad, women secretary Zuleka Mengal and labor secretary Haji Munir Ahmed Rind issued a joint statement saying that due to Balochistan government failure billions of rupees for development projects are being lapsed.
The statement said, the people of Balochistan have been made deprived of all basic facilities and the ministers have embezzled billions of rupees which were to be used for the welfare of the masses and development projects.
They said 2.5 million children were made deprive of getting education and most of the far-flung areas of Balochistan did not have any health facilities and good hospitals due to which people continue dying because of non-availability of proper treatment facilities.
In Mekran, Naseerabad and Kalat division, the death ratio is very high and hundreds of Baloch women die due to maternity cases, they continued.
The statement said, the present provincial government only made talk claims of development and prosperity, but the people of Balochistan even do not receive potable water for drinking.
