Islamabad Police has arrested three members of Mehran Council (The Council of Sindhi Students) after the fight between Baloch and Sindhi students in Quaid-i-Azum University Islamabad yesterday.
The police has arrested Shafqat Mangrio, Mansoor Somroo and Dildar Hussain. Three of them belong to Mehran Council.
The police said they detained Mehran Council member, Shafqat Mangrio along with a pistol and case had been registered against him.
Quaid-i-Azum University deputy registrar Hamayun Khan registered FIR against twelve members of Mehran Council and thirteen members of Baloch Council.
The students of both councils have been nominated in the cases of firing, sabotaging and destruction in the university.
