According to Pakistan Council Of Research in Water Resources (PCRWR) report, only 0.3 percent people in Balochistan have the access to clean drinking water and rest of the population drinks unsafe water.
The report further says samples from 95 districts of the country were collected and after the tests, it was found that ’99 percent of drinking water in Balochistan is not safe for drinking.’
According to the report in KPK 93% drinking water is not safe. In Punjab 21% of drinking water is safe while in Sindh 28 percent of drinking water is found safe.
