University of Turbat has established Karim Dashti Scholarship for the promotion of higher education in the region. Advocate Jadain Dashti has donated Rs.1m to University of Turbat to initiate Karim Dashti Scholarship enabling the talented and needy students to pursue their higher studies in Turbat University. Turbat University’s director QEC Prof Dr Gul Hassan and Advocate Jadainn Dashti has signed on the memorandum of understanding during a ceremony held at Turbat University on November 18, 2017. On this occasion University’s Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Abdul Razzaq Sabir said such persuasive initiative would accelerate the development of higher education in this part of country. He said Karim Dashti has been a famous poet, scholar, critique and writer of Balochi Language and this program would be a source of providing scholarships and financial aid to needy and talented students to make their future prosperous by acquiring higher education. Turbat University is committed to promote and expand endowment fund for needy students.
University of Turbat as a part of its strategic plan has established a scholarship program to support needy and talented students so they may continue their studies without any financial difficulties. In this regard Turbat University would request donors to contribute in Student Endowment Fund by sponsoring deserving students or awarding scholarships. The Scholarships or Sponsorships will be named after any personality as per their suggestion.
Registrar Prof Dr Hanif Ur Rahman, director finance Ghulam Farooq Baloch, director planning Muhammad Hayat, chairperson department of Commerce Prof Abdul Majid Nasir, deputy registrar Gangzar Baloch and PSO to VC Chakar Hyder were also present during signing ceremony.
