A Brahvi language online newspaper named ‘Nishist’ has been launched. It is the web version of Brahvi newspaper, Parav.
Parav is a weekly newspaper that has been publishing news, opinions and articles in Brahvi language for the last seven years and keeping in mind the requirements of the current scenario of online journalism, it has decided to connect with its audience through website.
The website ‘Nishist’ will also publish news, opinions and articles in Urdu language.
A launching ceremony of the website was held Quetta where several local and national journalists participated.
While addressing the participants, the founder and Editor in Chief of Parav, Saeed Noor said “We are technologically backward and have not been able to use technology effectively. Nishist will result in not only sharing content in Brahvi language but will also result in creation of other such platforms.”
A demo of the website was also presented by the web developer and the participants were briefed about the functions of the website.
