Lack of very basic health facilities is one of the major problems in Balochistan. There happen to be so many cases where patients lost their precious lives due to very minor health issues as non-availability of doctors in rural areas is a serious issue.
In last five years, 10 rural medical centers were shutdown in Kech and Panjoor alone. Other parts of Balochistan also experience the same state of health issues.
Aen Qadir, a local journalist from Gwadar, has taken an initiative and launched “Drahbat”. The app provides assistance for finding doctors in all districts of Balochistan.
The app contains the contact numbers of prominent doctors in the respective districts. The app can be downloaded from google play-store.
