A large number of students joined by the masses held a protest against drug peddling in district Gwadar.
The students along with citizens have been campaigning against the rapid spread of drugs in the region, which has effected a huge population and large number of young people are getting attracted towards this menace.
The rally passed through the markets and streets of district Gwadar which aimed to create awareness among the masses. The participants had placards and banners which demanded the authorities to save the students from getting effected to this menace of drugs.
The participants also urged the educational institutions to join this noble cause and initiate awareness campaigns among the students for the sake of protecting the young generation.
The rally participants asked the concerned authorities to take strict action against the drug stores and close them down immediately. The drug stores of wine, crystal,marijuana, opium and others are openly operating in the region.
