The intention behind writing this letter is to draw the attention of the relevant authorities towards the need of a Girls High School in Ball Nigwar. Ball Nigwar is a small union counsel in Tehsil Dasht, district Kech, with a depended population of almost 3500.
Unluckily, the residents are far from their right to get quality education espicially females who do not own a single high school in the area. After passing their 8th, they take admission in Govt Boys High School Ball Nigwar- where they have been interconnected by Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education to pass their matriculations due to lack of Girls High School. They are unable to attend shedule classes there but can take annaul examinations despite the fact that it promotes cheating culture as well.
As a result, this leaves the poor parents with no other option but to solemnise underage marriages as solution to their socioeconomic problems but unknowingly invites serious health complications in their daughters’ lives. Since our elected representatives have so far done nothing to curb the plight just only made premises to gain political mileage in the elections.
It is my plea to the higher education ministers and concerned authorities to look into the matter and deal with it on urgent basis and also find an enchanting way to provide the residents quality education which is their basic right.
