The author, journalist and PTI chairman Imran Khan’s ex-wife Reham Khan has said that not a single mainstream political leader of Pakistan held a Jalsa (public gathering) in Balochistan during election campaign.
In a tweet message, she wrote Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) president, Shehbaz Sharif did thirty jalsas during his campaign, but he did not do a single in Balochistan.
Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari managed to conduct overall fourty four public gatherings and failed to do even one from Balochistan.
The Pakistan Tehreek Insaaf chairman Imran Khan conducted sixty one Jalsas, but none in Balochistan.
At the end Reham Khan asked, “Aisay mehromian door kren gy Balochistan ki.” (Is it how you eliminate the sense of deprivation in Balochistan?)
Most of the political parties arranged their huge public gatherings in Punjab, KPK and Sindh while Balochistan remained out of the competition as none of the mainstream political leader manged to arrange even a single public gathering.
