Early Marriage in Pakistan is a deep-rooted issue and it needs the attention of concerned authorities immediately. Mostly, the girls between the age of 14 to 18 are the victim of early marriage.
It is quite painful that in Pakistan over 80% of girls marry while being below the age of 18 years.
Painfully, after the marriage, they get pregnant under the age of 19-20. It is a well-understood fact that being pregnant under the age of 19-20 can lead to death.
I would like to request the concerned authorities to come forward with a comprehensive plan to put an end to the early marriage in order to save the lives of innocent girls.
