By the day Coronavirus strived in the world, it had started influencing the communities at large. History witnesses whenever any pandemic occurred in the world, it had left the worst situations. They had disturbed human livings. They had an unstable societal development and its growth. From cancer to a minor ailment, human beings had suffered deaths due to unavailability of their vaccines.
But luckily, with the passage of time, some of their vaccines were made and hence we won and defeated the pandemics.
However, Corona has something more panic and problematic. No doubt it has deformed man’s health, but it has also made the man unemployed. This also remains true that prior to this pandemic, Balochistan’s people were unemployed and were going through harsh days for a living but somehow they were engaged in some sort of works which generated their earnings.
Apart from this, since corona has winged in the country_ especially in Balochistan_ it has ruined everything. Let it be health, economy, education, transportation or even ceremonies, the pandemic has hunted every department. But the thing which is affected most is the economy of the country. For, a precautionary lockdown was introduced which resulted in degeneration of revenue and which in return made man sit home_ particularly of the people of Balochistan.
However, I am not against lockdown neither do I appreciate it because to fight with Corona we have to take precautionary measurements and lockdown of markets was one of them which worked well too. But this also must be taken into consideration that due to this lockdown and pandemic from what worse situations citizens are going through!
The ones who have earned on daily wages and have fed their families now seem unemployed. As nobody hires them because fear has appeared_ a fear which has isolated everybody from each other, a fear which has stopped the fire on every stove.
A father goes home where his kids are waiting for him because he has gone to earn and when he arrives empty pocketed, how would it be like when kids sleep with empty stomachs? How disheartening is it? If surveillance is done, we would have seen surprising results of such families who sleep in hunger and die due to hunger.
Hopefully, our Prime Minister Imran Khan felt the pain of the citizens and introduced a program namely Ehsaas Emergency Program which aimed to distribute twelve thousand rupees to needed families.
But unfortunately, this program was not beneficial for the residents of Balochistan_ specifically of people of Makran. Since not every needy family was entertained with this program. Not every family’s stove fired from it. Unluckily, Balochistan is always neglected. Let it be citizens’ relaxations or anything else.
On the contrary, in abroad every country has facilitated its citizens. Their government has allocated a separate fund to those employees who are no more working due to Corona. And their citizens are relaxed. They do not have any issue or problem. Hence, they are standing shoulder to shoulder with the government to fight with Corona Virus.
It is an undeniable fact that whenever people of a country have stood with the government, nothing worse has happened to them. The same can be done with our country if the government truly eases the burdens of her people and provide them relaxations.
To conclude, together we can end this pandemic and for that our government must initiate some beneficial programs which must be proved advantageous for every citizen of the country. Such programs should be as much beneficial that no kid sleeps with empty stomachs. By doing such will make a difference.
