“What is our fault?” is a question asked by two little angels who still do not know how to talk properly. They are unaware of the happenings of the world and are limited to their homes only. In such an age, when an outsider comes and kill their mother in front of them, how would they feel, who would they complain about and to whom?
Unfortunately, the very cruel night destroyed almost everything for them. They are afraid of the society now where they live in. There are people whom they learnt from their mother to love, but they are afraid of them now. Not only afraid of others, they also possess their self fear. They fear from themselves.
Their innocent eyes are asking the same question again and again to the society that what their fault is that their mother was killed when asleep in peace in their own home. But, we, the “strong” men of the society are with no answer to their question.
Nobody ever thought of such acts in our society where women would be brutally killed by our own Baloch. I believe this is the fault of us_ the society. If we had played our role sincerely, nobody would dare to do such acts ever.
I still cannot believe before Bramsh faced similar circumstances, and now these kids are left orphaned. I believe this is going to be a trend if we do not take serious notes against such incidents.
Someone who does not know the respect of women, I do not call them humans of our society. Because our norms, customs and traditions do not pertain to them.
Before it gets too late and these people plan for other such killings and robberies, we should rise our voice and stand firm against them.
Now, I leave a question to you all, “What was their fault?”
We want justice for Kulsoom Baloch.
