The disheartening incident of Dazin (Tump) on June 15, leaves Kulsoom Saeed dead while leaving four children orphaned. The deceased lady Kulsoom Saeed was slaughtered to death by unknown armed robbers. They took around 20 to 30 golds of the victim, confirms her father.
Her young son, in a video clip, states, “My mother woke me up when she saw someone jumping from our wall. We took the light and went closer and asked who he was. But he did not give any response, however, he had long hairs. Then he ran away.”
“We came back and slept. After some times he came again with some men and killed my mother.” Continues the little boy.
The thieves had attacked the lady thrice on her neck with a knife.
While recalling the incident Kulsoom’s husband Saeed states that, “it was 6 at morning when a child came to us and informed us about the incident. When we reached the spot, her scarf was wrapped around her neck with several injuries.”
According to sources, the same night police were patrolling the area. Despite all the check posts and police patrolling teams, how could thieves easily manage to do all this and scape the crime scene?
The very day, residents of the area protested and asked the local administration to bring the culprits before the courts within three days or discharge their entire set up from Tump.
“If the administration cannot protect us from the goons, we do not need them either”, vociferate the locals.
The Federal Minister For Defence Production, Zobaida Jalal, who belongs to Mand, Tump, tweets after the incident, “the unperpetrated killings of innocent citizens of Dazin Tump & Dannuk Turbat targeting women & children is tantamount to violating human rights & values to the core SHAME on Cowards! #justicewillprevail.”
To bring into your notice, it is not the first case of robbery where a human life has been lost, but Dannuk incident was a similar incident in the same district when Malik Naz was shot dead in her house by robbers and her little child Bramsh was injured. Yet the protests for giving justice to Malik Naz and Bramsh have not finished, the citizens are introduced with a like incident.
Even though, for last two days a very common slogan is viral in the social media “Now it is our turn” which is to give a message to the present government that the citizens have lost their hopes on the government.
All we need to look further is, if the government really takes the matter with serious concerns and provides justice to Kulsoom Baloch. Not only Kulsoom, the citizens are also looking forward to seeing the culprits of Dannuk incident hanging openly in the bazaar. Justice should be served in either way to the victims.
