Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal has removed SP city from his post for mishandling protesting students in Quetta.
In a tweet message he said, appropriate action would also be taken against lady constable who treated female students inappropriately.
He maintained that no students arrest was ordered by the Government and it was a quarrel between police and students in which police acted and arrested the protesting students.
CM said police was ordered to release the students immediately.
Students were protesting against HEC’s policy of initiating online classes without ensuring the availability of internet services. Many of the female students were beaten and dragged into police van which was comdemned and criticized by a large number of actvists and politicians.
