It is very sad to observe that Baloch women are being killed commonly these days. They are subject to severe hardships in our society just because they are giving their utmost best to gain an education and get successful. The rude societal behavior is a clear attempt to pushing women backward in every walk of life.
However, females have great roles to play in a man’s life. In my experience, women possess multiple qualities inherently being appreciated by men. On the other hand, men often have different strengths, whereupon they can work lot more smoothly and in a far better way when altogether with women; diversity divides their powers, nevertheless.
Remember, the goal is to be ‘proud’ of the strengths you bring as a woman instead of trying to be like a man. Women can handle tough situations with a sense of calmness. Women can also appear less threatening by establishing trust quickly with the men they manage. In fact, women are often more capable than men of showing concern for other people’s feelings and connecting on a personal level.
As per the modern demand, women empowerment is the need of hour. It is the most crucial note for the overall development of a country, although. Empowerment, in general, is the process that creates power in individuals over their own lives, society, and in their communities. People are empowered when they are able to access the opportunities available to them without limitations and restrictions such as in education, profession and lifestyle.
Feeling entitled to make your own decisions creates a sense of empowerment; it includes the action of raising the status of women through education, raising awareness, literacy, and training.
Sadly, women are not getting to have empowered in our society resulting in deprivation of their basic rights. Why are they being ceased to go ahead and make great contributions when it is so imperative? Actually, the most painful thing is, no one raises voices for women’s rights.
However, women hold significant importance in any man’s life; a woman is a mother, a sister, a wife and a daughter. Despite all the beautiful relationships with women, they are treated brutally in our society.
We can take the example of Shaheena Shaheen who was a caring woman. She worked for the empowerment of women in the Baloch society. She was a helping hand for many of the deprived women but was killed. Today it is Shaheena, tomorrow me and the next day it is you, if the trend is not stopped ab-initio.
Hence, it is my request to everyone to put forward your hands for the protection of Baloch women and their fundamental rights. Don’t let them feel insecure in the society. Teach her to be confident and ensure her you are there with her any time she needs you. If you, as a family, don’t come forward, who will?
