University education refers to a level of education offered at universities. The purpose of university education must lead to the development of the learner in all aspects, not just career development. Education and political rights of students are fundamental to their growth, development, and future participation in democracy.

Furthermore, one of the most important functions of a university is to focus on all issues affecting students. Unfortunately, students are often ignored, restricted, and expelled from universities by administrative authorities for out-of-box reasons. The students of Turbat University are facing similar problems, where they are being discouraged, restricted, and having their allotments canceled without reason.

Recently, five students in University of Turbat are facing a similar panic issue, one with his admission canceled and four rusticated for one semester and having no any evidentiary proof of their act reference to which they are rusticated. The student whose admission is canceled is also defamed with unethical and fabricated cases. All these students are exceptionally intelligent, with reading habits.

In response of the very act of UoT, students protested and demanded their rights for which, the Baloch Students Action Committee (BSAC) conducted a peaceful protest against the suspension and rustication of the students. However, there was no response from the administration. Feeling compelled and helpless, the students closed the administration office. Despite this, there was, and is, still no response.

When the students rose up against the issue, rather solving the issues and looking after the valid demands, the administration stood on its cruel decision. The protesting students were threatened by fear of police and F.C crackdown on their protest.

Unfortunately, this is not an isolated incident, as similar problems are ongoing at Lasbela University, where several students have been suspended simply because they are from Balochistan and demanded for their educational rights.

The simple demand is that the students should be given access to their fundamental rights without any administrative-authoritarian. The protest is still underway at the varsity. Concerned departments, inside and outside the varsity, should play their key role in the resolution of the students’ concerns.
