I am not a poet that I express some meaningful sounds for you, nor am I an artist that I would draw your picture with Soruz, but I am an unknown individual who will write some words for you.

Ustad Murad Jan, you compel me with your artistic skills to write some lines for you and for your role in the development of the Suroz. I was a child when I saw you in a wedding in our area – surrounded with mountains. You were involved among the felicitous moments as a family member. You, too, live in the same Manaz Bazaar of Buleda – the place where the wedding was taking place.

You were present with the instruments for the wedding. Only by listening to your Suroz sound, I was so much influenced. It started to hit everyone with soulful music when you started playing with your instrument.

When you began to play it, the flying birds did not stop to listen to your sound and dance all around. I did not know the value of your talent, nor the value of the sound of your Suroz until I joined the event that day. I know the life we are living as Baloch is not presently colorful, but living nations even rejoice and prove they belong to the world and will always continue to do so.

I don’t know what will happen in the future for you as a music master, and your people as a nation, but I believe history is going to record one of its most valuable assets in the world of music industry. Your thoughts, your personality, and your life are involved with us.

Unfortunately, we are in such a national status that things are not going our way, resulting in a lack of deserving appreciation for our artists. But sometimes that I see your picture on social media, unconditional desire comes out of my soul to meet you again.

Ustad Murad Jan, you have come to a level that you are counted among the most flawless artists in the Baloch music industry forever. We know that no artist is ever erased from the pages of the history, specifically one with charm in the skills as you, Ustad.
