Tribal leader and former senator Haji Lashkari Raisani has said that the the main objective of getting education is to be better human being but in Pakistan the people go to educational institutions for the only purpose of attaining a degree.
While addressing a seminar on “twenty first century and the educational issues, he said today we give the examples of those nations who have advanced governments in their countries and their governments have been installed with the vote power of the masses.
He said in those countries the masses are makers and breakers of governments which make them powerful and in return the governments become compelled to make decisions in accordance with wishes of the people.
Lashkari said the only purpose of acquiring education should not be getting a degree and a job, but the objective should include the political and social construction of the society.
